Forgive the obvious deck name but I haven’t had a cool idea to name it yet. My brother showed me a combo that I couldn’t pass up, especially because I love playing peasant/ pauper. Also the mana curve is quite nice because there are only 12-14 cards with >1 casting costing!!, and only 2 are not creatures. So if you haven’t figured out from the deck name this is how it works.
Turn 1: Land + Panic Spellbomb
Turn 2: Land + Kiln Fiend (or Plated Geopede)
Turn 3: Land (if it’s Smoldering Spire ignore the creature contain) + Assault Strobe + Tainted Strike + (Vendetta, Stabbing Pain) + activate Panic Spellbomb
If all goes according to plan and then have >3 creatures you can tie up or kill them and have a 7/2 kiln fiend (or 5/3 plated geopede) with double striking + infect. And even if your combo doesn’t go off the mere speed of the deck should win. Obviously blue gives us the most trouble, and I still don’t have a good answer to it. Combos are fun but mostly what I love is how cheap this deck is. The most expensive cards in the deck are B/R dual lands then Exsanguinate.
